Guangzhou Timmy Hotel

The location is great although it's very difficult to find. Make sure you know exactly where to go because this hotel is on the 7th floor of a high rise block. It's above the Gomz computer store on Tian He Road. The free wired internet was fast and reliable, large walk in shower was powerful too. Bed was really comfy and my room was big.

Nothing bad to write really, There are no signs near to the hotel so it's very difficult to find.Wireless internet was intermittent although it's free. No tea and coffee in the room but I had a kettle! Air con was mediocre, tv was in Chinese. If you need to use an iron, book it as soon as you arrive. I think they've only got 1! This hotel was more for a self catering traveler, nothing fancy but pleasantly satisfying. I will stay here again without a doubt.

It was right on top of a metro train station. The station linked up with excellent shopping arcades and restaurants.

Staying in this hotel was a great decision. I loved that it was near the subway station, making it easy for me to explore the city and visit nearby places like the Guangdong museum and the Opera. There's also a huge mall park just next door, great for me since I love shopping. Hotel facilities were complete, and the staff was always ready to assist me, especially when I had to extend my stay due to a typhoon. The rooms' cleanliness was amazing, and the breakfast they served every day had a wide range of delicious food to choose from.

Not obvious to find: this hotel was quite challenging to locate despite being near the subway station.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in Guangzhou and I was very impressed with my experience. The location was amazing, right next to a subway station and surrounded by luxury shopping malls. It was so convenient to explore the city and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful, even though they didn't speak much English. They did their best to assist me and were always polite. The room was a bit small, but it was spotlessly clean with all the amenities I needed. The towels were large and fluffy, and the bathroom had everything from shampoo to a hairdryer. I even had access to a common kitchen on my floor, which was a nice bonus. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Spent my Christmas holidays here and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. The natural light that came in through the large windows made the space feel open and airy. The metro station was conveniently located within the same building, making it easy to get around the city. The breakfast included a variety of delicious Chinese dishes and there was even an egg custard and bbq bun that I particularly enjoyed.

The apartment building had a strange layout and it felt more like a commercial building than a hotel. Additionally, the noise from the main road could be heard from within the apartment and was disruptive at night. The building elevators required multiple transfers to reach higher floors, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. Despite these small annoyances, overall I had a great experience and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient location.

The confusing layout of the hotel and the elevator system can be frustrating, especially if you have a large amount of luggage.
